Integra strengthens its Middle East team with chemical engineer appointment
Global specialty lines loss adjusting firm, Integra Technical Services, has today announced the appointment of Dilan Surendrakumar as Engineering Adjuster to their team in the Middle East. Dilan joins the experienced team of John Chambers and Trevor Davis in Integra’s Dubai office.
Dilan graduated with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, which included modules such as carbon capture & storage, petroleum engineering and Process Dynamics.
Before commencing his loss adjusting career he worked in the Oil & Gas industry as a project engineer providing cost, risk and scheduling services on global construction and decommissioning projects. In 2017 he started his loss adjusting career during which time he has successfully settled numerous construction & engineering and operational claims across all types of conventional and renewable power generation, including gas and steam turbines related losses.
In addition to loss adjusting, his insurance industry work has included carrying out survey valuations of large processing facilities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Dilan was the 2020/21 recipient of CILA’s Cuthbert Buckle prize for the highest performance in the Advanced Diploma examinations.
Phil Durrant, Managing Director EMEA, Integra Technical Services said, “Dilan has already shown in his short adjusting career that he is one of the up-and-coming adjusters in the market. I am delighted to welcome him to the team in the Middle East and the wider global team and look forward to seeing him develop his career at Integra. His experience and knowledge of both conventional and renewable power generation will be invaluable both to his colleagues and our clients alike. I also look forward to making further announcements in the region in the coming months.
